The Day's Dream

There is a harshness of every ordinary day that slows down as I let my mind slip into the light, and let it carry me into soft focus. I can see more as my gaze blurs, I can often feel more, too. These photographs are bits and pieces of the days detachment. Allowing my camera to daydream gives me the soft pillow I need to rest easy into the sometimes hard day. It is not romanticism that I speak of or to; this daydreaming is life imagined holding hands with reality.
